Do you ever start a project, just to have it migrate to the bottom of your work basket, forgotten? Sadly, I started this TARDIS months ago with plans to make it into a plushie. I am happy to say that it is ALMOST done!
I stitched up the TARDIS using a variety of stitches. Belatedly, I realized that felt was not the best choice.Plus it was white. Sigh.
Luckily though, Wild Olive has had several great posts on tinting embroidery this week. I did the project a little backwards, but it seems to work fine.
I like how the crayon raise the nap of the felt to make it a little fuzzier and more stuffed animal-like. Now to cut it out, stitch it up, and stuff it by Stitchy Saturday! Stay tuned!!
