Foodie Friday: Pumpkin French Toast


Fall is a wonderful time to gather with friends and share your blessings. Brunch is one of my favorite ways to get together--it feels fancy without all the stress of a dinner party.  This seasonal french toast is easy to prepare but easily impresses all. It is a great party items or perhaps as a holiday breakfast.





The Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup pureed pumpkin
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • Bread


The Method:

  • Mix the pumpkin, eggs, and milk
  • Sprinkle in a few liberal shakes of spice
  • Dunk the bread
  • Cook on both sides in a well buttered/sprayed pan...coat the pan in between batches
Serve with warm maple syrup and what for the compliments to come your way!
