Some days, I have a tougher time identifying what I am thankful for than others.
Today though, I do not have to struggle.
I am thankful for this blog and the ability to share. I am thankful that with prior planning, I can make life simpler down the road.
I am thankful that my sweetie always has my back.
I am thankful for many little things. I am not thankful for my seat belt digging into my neck while I drive just because I am petite. I AM thankful that in just a few minutes I could make something that solves that problem and shows a little bit of my personality!
I took a great piece of flannel and a cozy piece of fleece, cut to 6.5 inches by 7.5 inches.
I pinned the right sides together and stitched around the edge, leaving a small gap to turn it right-side out.
After sewing, I turned it and stitched up the open end.
I cut a length of Velcro about 6 inches long.
I folded the cover in thirds and put one half of the Velcro about an inch from the edge.
I added to matching piece of Velcro to the other edge.
Super-easy and super-comfy! Make one for each member of the family in a fabric that suits them!
This is brilliant, Weas. I hate the seat belt choke effect, too, especially in hot weather!
ReplyDeleteIf you need one, pick a fabric and I will whip one up for you.
